Im confused, at a 4yr college ( for a BSN Degree ) would i take my pre'req's freshman year then nursing course

im currently confused right now. I would like to attend a 4 year college, for a BSN ( batchelor of science in nursing ) In my freshman year, would i take my pre'req's for nursing and then in sophomore year would i begin my nursing courses. please some one clarify this for me. explain this the best you can please. Thank you very much.

help me out here.
this will help me out in choosing wether i want to go for a 4yr college or a 2yr community college

Well, I would recommend going to a community college first to get your prerequisites done there, it is much cheaper and less stressful that way. Then, when you transfer to a four year college into a BSN program, you can just focus on your nursing courses. If you go straight to a four year college, then you will have to first take your prerequisites there, often along with your nursing classes.
Yes, in your freshman year you will take prerequisites such as Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Psychology, etc.. and in your Sophomore year you will start the nursing courses, along with clinicals and other prerequisites. At least that is how it is in my school.
I first got my associate degree in a community college and completed all of my prerequisites there. It was also easier to get into a BSN program since I was a transfer. Now I am just taking my nursing courses. While other nursing students I know who came straight out of high school are taking their prerequisites along with other nursing classes, which does not sound appealing.
I hope this helps,
Good luck
