Do college students have priority in their school's Nursing Program?

I WANT TO BE A NURSE!
PLEASE HELP!

I'm a high school senior in CA. I plan on attending a community college, then transfering to a CSU and major in Nursing. The Nursing Programs are impacted and I'd like to know how the students are chosen.

You really need to ask this question to CSU. Different schools may have different criteria for acceptance into their programs. Typically things like High GPA and taking the right preparatory courses will probably help. But ask the school and more specifically the Nursing program. Even check with them before signing up for classes at the community college and see if they think they would be good preparatory classes. Don't be afraid to get advice from the school you wish to attend about how to get in and about each step in the process. That's what admissions people are getting paid to do. You are not bothering them you are simply asking them to do their job and help you.
