I'm thinking to go to college for nursing, does anyone know on what I should expect, and is it hard?

Yes, it will be challenging. And if you want to attend a 2 year RN expect to spend a year or more just doing prerequisite classes. Only then will you be able to apply to get into the real nursing program.

If you are able to choose a program... find one that boosts a "high retention rate" of their nursing students and not a "high pass rate" of those grads taking the liscencure nursing test. This means the school values those they accept into their program and do everything they can to make sure they graduate. This usually translates to: very hard to get into. The other schools with the 100% pass rate focus more on "weeding out" those who might not pass the test all while still taking your money of course.

Not particularly so far. The hardest thing is having confidence on clinical placements.

Expect a mix of groupwork, roleplay, lectures, practical exams, clinical placements in a variety of areas. Expect a fair amount of biology, maths and communication skills. And lots of annoying presentations lol. It'll probably be about 85% female on the course.

It's good I recommend it.

Develop a very tough skin as most of these nursing schools are very cut throat. I'm currently going to a school that takes every opportunity to weed students out. The courses and clinical work isn't hard, it's dealing with the professors and administration.
