Which is better for a guy to go to college for, nursing or criminal justice? |
going to college and dont know what i want to do. any suggestions and/or where to go? It really depends on the man. I really can't answer this question for you, nor can anyone else. I can tell you people are talking about a huge shortage of nurses coming in the next few years. You'll likely be in high demand if you choose that path. Nurses are often underpaid for their services, however. If you have the true desire and ability to become a nurse, you should do it. Nurses are always in high demand and can find jobs easily. If you live in the USA there is a REAL shortage of medical personnel. Nurses are extremely overworked because of this. GREAT job security!!!! There are men who are a lot more comfortable with male nurses, too. Nursing! You can just about write your own ticket in a lot of places. If you are good, you can make a 6 figure income in nursing. Many places offer signing bonuses of up to $10,000 just to go to work for them. The population is growing and getting older, the need for medical care just keeps increasing, and the number of nurses stays about the same. Just be prepared for long hours and hard work the first few years! Does it matter, do what you feel is best. You have to truly be dedicated to nursing. It's very competitve to get in and stressful, but very rewarding. Men are starting to become just as equal as women in the nursing realm. Don't know much about criminal justice it is a broad range that has so much you can do with. If you want to mess with blood and injections, go with nursing, if you wanna deal with crimes and justice, go with criminal justice...lol. It's your call. In Both career paths you will deal with a lot of Human crap |
