Any advice on what I can do to better my chances of getting accepted into a community college nursing program?

Apply early,
Complete prerequisites.
Keep GPA as high as possible.
Take advantage of tutoring.
Cut back on extra curricular activities.
Stay focused on the prize!!!!!!!!!!

Work experience in a hospital is always a good route.

The hospital will feel better about someone who has tried out the position to see if they liked it. What happens in nursing so often is that after the first year a number of students leave the course. This is because girls didn't really know what nursing was going to be like.

Don't community colleges take everyone?
