I will be taking a chemistry class at my Jr college. (Nursing pre-req). HELP!? |
I am a little nervous about it, I am looking forward to science classes, and I have taken them before, but not chemistry. What should I study now to be better prepared? My class will start this coming spring. I also had to taken chemistry and physics in order to prepare for nursing. The course I took was developed for those with no prior knowledge of chemistry. We focused on the periodical table, knowing the elements. The symbols for each element, the weight etc. I am now in third year nursing and the only time I've used any of my chemistry knowledge has been when a chemical symbol comes up. NA is a big one. K also. 02. NA is sodium, K is potassium and 02 is oxygen. I would focus on knowing the symbols, will give you a heads up. :) Good luck. |
