Majoring nursing rn in junior college?

OKAY, I JUST GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL, AND I WANT TO MAJOR IN NURSING RN, AND WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE?WHAT DO I NEED TAKE? IS IT EASY OR HARD? AND IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET MY ASSOCIATES IN NURSING 2 YEARS OR 1?

BECAUSE I'M ONLY DOING TWO YEARS IN JUNIOR COLLEGE, AND TRANSFERRING TO UCLA TO PLAY FOOTBALL, TRACK, AND MAJOR IN MEDICINE.

RN in JC is possible in some states, but not recognized in others.

you'll have to check with the JCs in your state or target area.

I live in Florida, RN in JC is possible here. It takes two years. My sister did it.

At most junior colleges, the RN program would be two years. Coursework and clinical work won't be easy. Admission to the programs is usually quite competitive.

You have a very ambitious few years mapped out.

Good luck.

In many states you can get the training to be an RN with an Associates Degree (2 yrs) However, you still must pass State Boards before you are a REGISTERED nurse.
There are also many programs that help nurses with an Asso. Degree get their bachelor's degree later.
Do check with your State Board of Nursing to see what the requirements are. Also check with them about the accreditation of the program you want to enter.
