College application question for nursing?

i want to major in Nursing ( RN) but the only two coarses in this college for nursing are Nursing (Accelerated) and Nursing ( (Traditional BSN) are any of them for the RN? im confused

An accelerated BSN program is usually reserved for people who hold a bachelors degree in another field but want to earn a bachelor's in nursing.

The traditional RN program is what you want, this will earn you the 4 year BSN in nursing.

If you are applying to this school, you should definitely talk to an admissions representative or an academic advisor who can answer your questions about their program and application process. There's a lot of information that you'll really need to know that you might not find on your own without talking to the school. Good luck.

The accelerated programs are usually for people with background in the field, maybe LPN's. The traditional BSN would lead to being eligible to take the state test for your RN certification.

Where I live you have to have a BS in any field to go into the accelerated program. The BSN is a four year course for Registered Nurses. Nursing is a excellent field to go into.

Good Luck in your career decision!
