Can some one still get into a nursing college if they dropped out of high school and got a GED?

Will a nursing college still accept you if you don't have a REAL high school diploma?

yes as long as you have your GED. you will have to take a test before you can apply.

I think so, depending on ACT or SAT scores.

Yes, if you go to a junior college and get your practical nursing degree (AS) first and then transfer to a 4 year school. I doubt you would have all the science and math requirements needed for entrance to a 4 year college w/a GED. Good LUck!

i am going to say yes, because my mom dropped out of high school and got her GED and now she is a registered nurse.. but state laws could be diff. in your state but i dont think so, bacause my mom is guarnteed a job in any state if she moves according to her nursing license.

Yes if you go through a program at a community or junior college. After words, you could maybe seek a second degree at a four year university's nursing college.

Yes, my niece is a good example. She was harassed by a group of girls in high school and finally dropped out. She then got her GED, went to nursing school to be an LPN first, and then went on to get her RN classes. When she passes her state boards for this, she said she wants to work for awhile at it but eventually wants to get a Bachelor's degree in Nursing so she can teach it.
