Should I take a course in Phlebotomy now or should I wait to finish my nursing courses?

I was wondering if it was worth taking a course in Phlebotomy now before I go into the field of nursing pretty soon. I wanna get my BSN eventually however, I herd there's a shortage of phlebotomist at local hospitals....and that the pay was decent not sure though?! Could you also tell the starting pay of a phlebotomist? THANKS!!!!!! =)

I'd take the phlebotomy course as it can come in handy to make some $$.
I don't know what the starting pay is for a phlebotomist but I have also heard that they make good money.
