I have an interview with Nottingham university for a nursing course what will they ask me?

I am hoping to get onto the mental health branch course but would welcome any info from anybody who has ever had a nursing interview for any Uni.

congrats on getting that far! im applying to nottingham next year for childrens branch, but my best mate is doing mental health so i'll see what i can help with....

she said they do give you a good grilling. ask you things like how you feel you fit the role of the modern nurse, why you want to do it and they give you scenarios where you have to decide how you would react. try to just be open and honest and be passionate. good luck!! xx

The common question they always ask is...Why do you want to be a nurse? Why have you chosen mental health?

Why do you want to study nursing and so on. Make sure that you impress them because this is really what you want to do. The reason I am answering your question is because my daughter is at Nottingham Uni and my youngest has a conditional place to go to Nottingham Uni.

To be perfectly honest, you need to go there and try and think of a question to ask to do with the mental health branch course. The most important thing is that, if you really want to do this course, then you need to tell them that.
