Hepatitis B vaccine nursing course?

I have just realised my hepatitis b is missing on my health notes and i need to have this before my course in sept. i just also realised its a lengthy process to get vaccinated!

I have an appointment to start the process - is this enough to satisfy a university health clearance for a nursing course?

Maybe I shud just say I've had it all.

Just be truthful and say the process has started. Your initial training wont involve patient contact anyway, so the fact you haven't had hep b vaccination wont be a problem.

Yes it should be enough I f not it will be picked up by occupational health.

Jut lie lol and say you are fully covered and in the meantime get yourself just as you are doing now by making a start.

My uni made sure we all had it, before our first placement. We had to attend for a course whilst in the first term. Dont worry you wont be the only one,

I think you can get an advanced course which speeds up the process, our nursing lecturers have mentioned it, but you have to ask your GP for it, cause once you start the normal course you cant then switch to the accelerated.

You should be able to have the first 2 before you get out to placement as it take a number of months, I had 2 injections before getting to Uni, the 3rd a month after I stated (so oct) and I had the blood test in Semester 2, - my uni was happy with this but it is up to occupational health at the end of the day.
