What do I need to get a degree in if I want to become a nurse practitioner?

What do I need to get a degree in if I want to become a nurse practitioner?

Although there are programs that will bridge degrees from other disciplines, a baccalaureate degree in nursing is the preferred basic degree. Most NP programs at present are Master's level in Nursing.

I would say nursing - at the very least biology. Nurses have to go to nursing school - even practitioners (which is a smart choice). They can earn a lot of money.

Nurse practitioner is a master degree level (MSN). You can only apply if you first have a BSN (bachelors in nursing) and work experience in the field. So you need to plan on getting your BSN first.
