What are the advantages of becoming a nurse?


a few questions:
are there any online programs to get your nursing degree? how long are you normally in school for?

how hard is nursing?

what are the steps to becoming a nurse?

Please make sure you genuinely care for people if you choose nursing.
Its wonderful having a caring nurse when you are needing care...They are much admired, much valued and much appreciated by the sick...
We take good health so much for granted...and we also take these service professions for granted too...
Its not an easy job...but its very rewarding..if you care for people and enjoy looking after them...and I speak from a patients point of view...

You can get a taste as a certified nursing assistant with about 2 weeks training (some are available online), an Licensed Practical Nurse's education takes approx 10 - 12 months at the Vo-Tech or CC level, and to become an RN takes approx. 3 yrs (ADN) to 4 yrs (BSN) and up (for Master's etc). 1. Cool outfit to play fantasy games with.
2. Comfortable shoes to wear to work
3. If you lose an eye, you can wear a cool patch with a cross on it.
4. Get to inject people you don't like.
5. Access to rich doctors to marry.

No online programs.
2 years LVN, 4 yrs RN
Hard.
Go to school, and get a biology degree as a start.

Nursing is a good career. the advantages of becoming a nurse is the fact that it is a good job and you'll earn larger money than any other career. now, in the Philippines, nursing is a 5 year course because it is indemand and they must have the good quality of being a nurse.

You must be a literate enough in the field of caring and helping doctors.

Steps are study in a good nursing school, take a bar exam and passed it.

Nurses NEVER get laid off. Most nursing schools are 2 years. Nursing is hard! The anatomy and physiology classes alone are mind boggling!
