How much does a Registered nurse make with only a Associate in Science degree? |
How much does a Registered nurse make with only a Associate in Science degree? that varies from facility to facility, some places make more. I have noticed that a non-profit organization makes less than one for profit. The pay scale varies by state. Call your local hospital and talk to the personel people and ask them. Or call the Unemployment Office in your area. |

I'm sorry no one has answered your question . . . I am not a nurse, otherwise I would talk to you about it. I recommend talking to the nurses that work at your GP. Also, post of your profess... They are two very different jobs. I would work as a nurse for a year or so and you can see the difference, doctors spend little time with patients, nurses are the ones there teaching patient assess... I thought that it was a BS ...Depends what country you work in! If the uk then your looking at starting on around 17-18,000 per year! ...Nurses everywhere don't make enough money. Also being a RN is an associate degree. RNs make about 60k in Cali. Be a PA instead they make about 90K. ...google "nmas" and "gscc" and away you go =) edit lol it's changed, NMAS is dead, you go through UCAS now. ...New graduate nurses make about the same everywhere. You will want to gain expereince as a floor nurse before you jump into a ER. Give yourself a couple of years before you try any type of special... it depends upon experience and whether or not you're a RN or a NP....if you're an RN, expect around $40,000-$50,000, depending on if you work in a major hospital or a suburban clinic........ |
