Medical Carrer - what is the best path for someone who already has an unrelated Master's Degree? |
I'm looking for a career change, and I've decided that I want to pursue a degree in the medical field. I have my Master's Degree in environmental science, and I'm currently totally lost as to exactly what medical career I want to pursue. Oops! Sorry about the typo in the title. You could be a dental assistant right now. That would be the fastest. Best is Physician Assistant. I gather that you want to be involved in patient care. That's reading between the lines. Perhaps you might be interested in an administrative position. With your degree it would only make sense to go into that field. Nursing administrators are in high demand. Also physical therapy requires a masters degree and might be compatible with your studies. Why not go to a hospital and ask them this question. I'm sure they would be happy to help you. |
