I can't decide if I should go nursing or sociology? |
Currently I am a sociology student at the U of M in the twin cities. I plan to go to law school but I'm not in a big hurry for that. I'm concerned that if law school falls through that I won't be able to get a job with a sociology degree. When I say job I mean a good paying job with benefits and such. As of right now I work as a nurse aide and I do enjoy it but I don't want to do that forever. I think I would be a good nurse but I also want to be a lawyer someday too. I don't know what I should do. Is nursing a better career track to go through? If you don't get in to law school, you could always become a paralegal. If you have an interest in law, follow that dream, don't become a nurse. A better back-up plan would be accounting or some other career-granting degree. Nursing will give you a better salary and benifits until you finish Law School or if you go. |
