I'm interested in making a career change into Nursing from working in Banking for 10 years.?

I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and have recently gotten interested in a career in Nursing. There's so much info out there, and it's overwhelming. Do I have to get a bachelor's in nursing, can I transfer what I've learned in business, or do I start from scratch? I'd appreciate any kind of advice...Do you know anyone who did something similar? Please help.

If you already have a bachelor's, an accelerated BSN program may be for you, some can be completed in 15 months or so, but they are very intense and generally expensive.

I have a BA in another discipline and chose to get my associates in nursing (ADN) because it was cheaper and get my BSN later finishing up online. There are many different options you might consider. Try www.discovernursing.com and visit your local colleges that offer nursing programs. Also Google your State Board of Registered Nursing in your state's name, they will have a list of all approved nursing programs in your state.
