Do you think that it is possible to be a nurse and study for your medical degree? |
I am thinking of becoming a nurse and then while I am working study to be a doctor. Fo you think it is possible? It is possible, however, you have to have 4 years of internship which is not paid. It will probably also take longer to get a degree since you will be working. No. You can not work while you are in medical school. You could work as an RN while doing pre-regs; but once you are in medical school its considered a full-time occupation (and then some). (BTW; internship and residency are PAID) and you do not have the option of going longer than 4 years to med school because you do a set program and cannot take fewer "classes". |
