Will disorderly conduct and summary harrassment prevent me from going to nursing school? |
It happened when my disability was active, I was taking a final exam and became visibly anxious. I was asked to leave. I asked why? I didn't get an answer so I continued taking the test. The next thing I knew the police were there, arrested me and escorted me off campus. I later called the test center to complain and left a message but I got cut off so I called again. I was later informed that I was charged with harassment. Needless to say I left the school and took a degree in Liberal studies not finishing my nursing. I now have an opportunity to go back to another school but I don't know when I should tell them about what is on my background check. Would they prevent me from going to school there with these minor offenses and if they knew the background behind it would that make a difference? Well nursing course demand a very high discipline. yes If they have reason to believe that you can't handle pressure for whatever reason, they probably won't accept you. Unfortunately, the fact that you claim it was due to a disability won't be taken into account. Nurses are responsible for human lives, and nursing schools won't take unnecessary risks. Would check to see how this effects your employment possibilities. This is not to say one event flushes all your career plans, but would try to get experience that gave me solid references to work on your behalf. Unfortunately, |

Then if you still have an interest in the mental health field, you can go into psychiatric nursing, but if you decide you prefer physical medicine, you can go... As you are planning to stay overseas anyway, it would be wise to add further qualifications to your resume. The degrees and transcripts from the US must be submitted to the Education Ministry for...
