How much do nurses with a 2 year degree get paid?

How much do nurses with a 2 year degree get paid?

The same as a four year degree. The only difference is a BSN is more likely to get into management posititons.

Kyra why so down on a AS degree? BSN take the same test and the same work load. AS degree nurses actually have more clinical experience than a BSN.

Really varies considerably. If you work in a hospital setting you can get 20 to 50 hours depending on the specialty area. If you work agency if will get paid alot more. Their is down falls with working agency though. No benefits. if you are interested in making the big bucks work at a hospital for one year to get experience and work for agency and work at one of the bigger hospitals and then get hired on there. Traveling nursing is really good too. I had a friend that lived in Texas and went to Hawaii for a year as a traveling nurse. That's if you really want to do that. It could be fun. She had all expenses paid for including apartment.

Unfortunately, in most cases the same as a nurse with a BSN. Sometimes even a MSN.
