Graduate Nursing in CA...any recommendations?

I don't want to go to a party school. I'm currently getting my BA/RN degree at cal state Long Beach which is notorious for a "party school" and met some flaky people. I am very realistic now and know that flaky people are everywhere but wish to choose a graduate school where the odds will be greater that I find more down-to-earth people vs. party people. Here's a list of MA degrees of Nursing in CA...UCLA, UCSD (i believe this is a party school), University of Sacramento (is this place beautiful? never been there), Cal state LA, etc. Then again, I am aware that there are good people everyone, its just a matter of right timing and right place.

Have you looked into maybe smaller but highly recommended schools? For example, Loma Linda University, although private SDA, has a wonderful nursing program.

And UCSD is not a "party school". It is actually San Diego State who is notorious for partying. UC San Diego happens to be a great school where you would meet serious students.

It is ok to change majors. I did it mid-undergrad and managed to graduate on time. So you will be fine. Best wishes to you!! Report It
