Nursing jobs in the US for non-citizens?

I have a friend who is graduating with an associates RN degree in nursing who is not a US citizen. My friend is currently staying on a student visa. Is it possible for her to get a job as a nurse in the US and work here legally in the long term?

Yes, as long as your friend can find an employer willing to sponsor her and get her work visa. And for nurses, there are a lot of hospitals and medical facilities willing to give her that.

She needs to get a work visa which will allow her to work in the US.
