Are online nursing degrees valid, how does it work...?

To by knowledge the only nursing degrees available online are for masters and doctorate. Simply because you have to do rotations and they have no way of monitoring that. You will have to find your own placement for rotations and most hospitals, etc want you to be with a school that they are associated with (main univ.). If it's accredited by the Dept of Education it's able to be used anywhere. However, most R NOT...I tried to get a degree online..I only had 3 classes left when I found out that my degree I was getting could only be used in Ohio..nobody else took it. So, I wasted a lot of money and time. I would check the schools accreditation and actually ask someone if you can get a job with it. Ask your local hospitals --where they hire...if they would hire you with an online degree.
