What degree do I need to pursue to have a "sit down" job in nursing?

I am a Registered nurse looking for a office job

If you're an RN, you at least have an Associate's Degree, correct? Have you tried doctor's offices, clinics, etc? There are also RN's who work with insurance companies and screen applicants for health insurance (on the phone, internet or paperwork). Although some management positions want you to have a Bachelor's, there are lots of other options in nursing. That's what I love about this career!

I don't know about you, but the nurses in my doctor's office never seem to have time to sit down. They are always on the move.

That being said, I know that there are "telephone triage" positions for TeleHealth Ontario, and your province or state may have something similar.

What about travel nursing? I think there are people they hire who are on call and travel with a patient in an air ambulance or on a plane when they need to travel for medical care.

You should try to see if you can do an information interview with a couple of people who do different types of nursing. This will give you a better perspective on things.
