Career and degree questions!! VERY URGENT!!? |
I have 3 Associate's degrees(pre-physical therapy, criminal justice and psychology) and I speak 3 languages fluently(portuguese, spanish and english) and I can read french. Right now I am going to school to become an RN, but in the mean time I would like to know: Will I be able to get a decent job, let's say something that would pay more than US$10.00 hourly, until I get my nursing degree and my RN certificate? Since you are in the medical field anyways, why not a medical office assistant? Billing assistants get paid around $10 even without experience if you are familiar with medical terminologies. Also, you speaking Spanish could be a valuable asset at medical offices located in Hispanic neighborhoods... It depends on where you live and what kind of job you'd be looking for and what kind of experience you already have. I don't see why not. You might even be able to find a job at the same school you're studying at, especially if it is a large university. What with your language skills, you'd make an excellent clerk for a Romance Languages department. physical therapy even if AA should make you comfortable since PTs are in demand. If you live in the South USA, push your language skills especially spanish. it will make you more appealing to employers than people who dont speak any |
