I am writing an essay.. why do you want a master's degree in nursing??

If you cannot answer that question yourself, perhaps you need to rethink whether or not you want that masters in nursing. Getting that degree is tough work and certainly you know nursing isn't going to be easy. The essay is probably the easiest part. Take a deep breath, take the day to think about why this education/career move is important to you, and jot down any idea that comes into your head throughout the day. If you are going for a masters you must be motivated, hardworking and intelligent...the essay will come.

-Because that's what I want to do in my life, to be a nurse

-Because I like to help people, it gives me pleasure to see that my actions made someone have a better health

-Because I want to get to know other people with a simmilar objective in life as me

-Because I need the degree to get a job as a nurse

-Because I like to learn more and more

-Because after my Master's I would consider moving on to a PhD to do research

Cause I want a bigger paycheck than whatever is below that.

For increased knowledge, for management opportunities, to learn leadership qualities, to improve ones self, to open up new job opportunities to self i.e. teaching, to have the paperwork necessary to advance in career, to specialize. Hope this helps.....................
