What type of business can I start, with a bachlor degree in nursing? Dear Hinmai... CPR class you would be wise to get a business degree first....then a temp staffing agency or HHC agency would be a possibility Try finding a job in a nursing home and gain som experience. Once you're comfortable, consider setting up a nursing home. Nursing Home You could put in a year and get an M.S.N. and become a nurse practitioner. However if you are actually trying to get away from the nursing side of things how about go into hospital administration? Aside from that, what about something completely different...medical sales? (Good money there!) You could do in home care. Depends on if you have the experience that goes along with a degree. If so, than the world is your limit. Have you checked out becoming CLNC trained? Many are making wonderful money doing that kind of consulting work. You could look into what all it would take to start your own home health care service. You know the nurses and nursing aids that go to peoples homes and help give them baths, and cleans up their homes some. Takes blood pressers, and checks on the patients meds. I think they make good money, you will need to look into what it takes to get certified by the state you are in and by the federal government. That way you can accept medicare and Medicaid, and bill them. Good luck on what ever you get into I hope you can make it. i know a few nurses who have become professional piercers and tattoo artists. |
