What is the different between BSN and associate degree in nursing?


What is the different between BSN and associate degree in nursing?

BSN is 4 years and Assoc. is 2. There really is NO pay difference unless you work in a large university hospital that requires a BSN. Usually you need a BSN for any management or higher position. A BSN can open more doors in your nursing career.

2 years.

B is 4 years
Assoc.is 2 years.

Besides the 2 and 4 yrs. BSN is more academic and observation where ADN is more hands on and clinical.
