How quickly can i get a bachelors degree in nursing? (BSN)?

How quickly can i get a bachelors degree in nursing? (BSN)?

A Bachelor's degree is a 4 yr degree, It would depend on what college credit, if any, you already have. It would take a minimum of 1 year (if you are already an RN, LPN or LVN)

Usually, the BSN is a 4 year program.

A BSN is traditionally a four-year program, however there are some ASN, which you will still be considered to be a RN. The difference is that a BSN opens the door to go directly to advanced studies, for example, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing Educator and Nursing Informatics, Mid-wifery, etc. With an ASN you would have to earn a bachelor's then Master's. Just go with your gut and do the BSN, I'm doing the same thing. Take your time, take the pre-requisites and get into nursing school. Learn all you can. Nurses are definitely needed and needed very badly.
