Can somebody who has their bachelors degree in nursing become a doctor?

How long would it take about? What are the requirements?

Take the MCAT's, do well on them (which you probably should.) Apply to med school of your choice...go into serious debt. Med school is 3 years, then you intern and have your residency (which I believe is another 3 years). You then can practice in general medicine, if you specialize, that's another residency. But yes, someone with a bachelor's in nursing can be a doctor, most med schools don't require a pre-med degree to apply and be accepted. Ask a college instructor at your school... it would depend on what classes you already have and the school's requirements.

Anyone with a bachelors degree can apply to med school. I've heard of english majors becoming doctors. Med schools like diversity.

yes, if that particular somebody decides to continue their education and earn a phd. otherwise, no.

You would have to go to Medical school and do at least an internship. Your previous education and experience would be a help but I think you would be looking at 5-6 years at least, depending on speciality.

Have you taken the MCAT?

It varies by state, some RNs can join a PA program and get their MD eventually by way of on the job training.
Otherwise, you would have to go to Medical School for 4 years then do an internship.
Having a BS in nursing is certainly a great start.
