It is best for the profession of nursing for all nurses to have the highest amount of education possible. So the schools work to make it as easy as possible for nurses to advance their educations.

An example is one school which has their nurse practitoner masters classes all scheduled one day a week so nurses can continue to work while getting their masters degrees.
