What happens when you get a degree in science, and then a degree in nursing, what do you get?

If you pass the state boards, an RN!

RN's can come from many areas of education. There are still a few hospital based programs out there. Three years of training is required. This was the way nurses were education many years ago. There are also nursing programs in community colleges. Typically this is a two year program and the student come out with an associate degree in nursing. Then there are four year programs at colleges and universities. The student earns a baccalaureate of nursing degree. Further degrees are obtained at universities. These can include a master's degree from many areas of specialization and a doctorate degree, again from many areas of specialization.

it's possible for you to take medicine course or become a tutor or lecturer after working 10 years as a nurse
