What are some ways to gain 2000 hours of clinical experience for a nursing degree?

Technically, I am going to school for my bachelor's in Biology right now so i can go on to physician assistant school afterwards. But in order to get in, I have to have 2000 hours of experience in a hospital/medical environment (clinical)....i just applied to two different hospitals. One for a nurse's assistant in oncology, the other a patient care associate. Do these things count towards that?

Volunteering in a hospital is a good way to get some of that experience.
Look for internships or externships.

The jobs you say you applied for sound reasonable to me - remember, you just have to convince the college board (or whoever is reviewing your application) that you have the experience.
