Is it easy to get a nursing degree? |
what i mean is, are the classes hard? It isn't easy, but it is very do-able. A lot of classes are science classes that are difficult, but if you are willing to put in the work, you will get a good grade. Here is how they teach it at Alfred State (a SUNY school in NY). The numbers show how many hours per week you will be in that class. Of course it is hard, you are working for a degree and when that is finished you are responsible for human life. My wife said the hardest is Pharmacology. But, I figure it really depends on your strengths. It depends where you take the classes, how long a span of time you allow yourself to finish them. No, a nursing degree is not easy. Registered nurses require a four year college degree ,consisting of gen-ed courses and science courses related to nursing, extensive clinical classes pertaining to all aspects of medical practice, and you will also have hands on training at hospitals and nursing homes. The dropout rate is significant when compared to other college courses.
