Is it easy to get a nursing degree?

what i mean is, are the classes hard?
What exactly are the classes and what do they teach you?

It isn't easy, but it is very do-able. A lot of classes are science classes that are difficult, but if you are willing to put in the work, you will get a good grade. Here is how they teach it at Alfred State (a SUNY school in NY). The numbers show how many hours per week you will be in that class.

Good Luck! Nursing is a great career.

Of course it is hard, you are working for a degree and when that is finished you are responsible for human life.

My wife said the hardest is Pharmacology. But, I figure it really depends on your strengths.

It depends where you take the classes, how long a span of time you allow yourself to finish them.

No, a nursing degree is not easy. Registered nurses require a four year college degree ,consisting of gen-ed courses and science courses related to nursing, extensive clinical classes pertaining to all aspects of medical practice, and you will also have hands on training at hospitals and nursing homes. The dropout rate is significant when compared to other college courses.

Regarding RN School

Yes, the classes are very hard.

The competition is tough to beat, just to get into nursing school.

Last semester we had 500 applicants and 150 spots. Out of the 150 that get in, only about 75 finish and get their degree.

Nursing school at our college is three days per week. Students are tested every Friday, and they must score 75 or above in order to stay in school.
