Are there any legit online nursing degree programs?

I am already a paramedic, so the clinical portion and the skills are mostly there.

Not the clinical part.

I hope this answers your question. I would be wary of any school that allowed you to do clinicals at home :P

I doubt it. Nursing is not an art, it's a science that requires practical hands-on experience. It's not just studying the theories, and memorizing anatomy and chemicals. You actually have to learn how to stick needles and give medication.

sorry this is not an answer to your question but a question for you, how did you become a paramedic? what qualifications do you need? thanx

all i know about is u can be a LVN at concorde or summit career college which will take less than a year

To paraphrase Bill Clinton, "Could you define legit?"

To graduate as a degree nurse, all you have to do is get the required credits and the college will graduate you. If the college does not require ANY clinical practice, you can do it all over the internet.

Then you take the national test. If you pass, you become an RN. Then you get a job. Since even 4 year colleges are weak on clinical practice, many employers give new nurses an "internship" so they can learn all the clinical stuff they did not get in their program. Hopefully the internet nurse will learn fast before they go and kill a patient...

Better to go to a real college and actually take care of some real patients.
