Help...I want to get a nursing degree online.?

The only schooling I have is GED.

Well, it can't be ALL online, since you will need practicums and experiential learning (would you trust a nurse who got all their training from a computer?) but check out Excelsior, below. They've been around a long time (used to be known as Regents College) and they're reasonably priced.

Schools that advertise as all online are 90% scams and EXPENSIVE......But most real universities and colleges have online classes, so go into your local community college and ask about it....you will still have to go to some classes, but barely and its not too expensive or you can get fafsa maybe

You can't. To be a nurse you will need to do clinicals--no legitimate way around that.

You may want to see what your local community college offers by way of nursing and what it takes to apply. Most likely there is a waiting list. You will need to get all your pre-requisites done and should do all co-requisites before taking any nursing courses because they are extremely demanding and time consuming.

If this is all an issue for you, you may have to start out as a CNA or an EMT. CNA training is offered many places, including at some facilities (such as nursing homes) and requires minimal training and that is shown in the pay. It is good experience to get into nursing, however.

An EMT takes around 1 semester (at least at some colleges) and again is a good entree to nursing and would allow you to be hired in the health care field.

If the heavy workload does not appeal to you, select another career because nursing school is hard work and physical and most nursing jobs are more so.
