Difference between Nursing degree and diploma?

They both seem to follow the same path and have the same amount of hours study. Is one more scientific than the other? Does the diploma mean you will get all the menial jobs?

Go Degree always!
Ok a little bit more work but a degree opens doors that you wouldn't ordinarily open with a diploma!
It will be helpful throughout your career. Most of my colleagues are now doing masters degrees and beyond in Nursing.

diploma is normally 2 years and degree 3 years and about 40 hours study a week but most do 30 hours, and you get more money if you have a degree might as well do a degree and get more money.
