Can a felon with a Masters Degree In Nursing Get some type of medical position, rather it be insurance or ? |
I have 2 felony convictions both given at the same time. I have a Masters Degree in Nursing, My conviction isnt job related you could try something like a medical call center (still in the medical field, but away from patient contact...) Most likely not. I would talk to your PO, they might be able to help you. But unless there is a some criminal rehabilitation program you won't be getting a job in the medical field any time soon. Mainly because of the access to drugs...Maybe a CNA job. That is a real tough one. Most places are really picky when it comes to applicants with felony convictions. Some will allow you to explain your charges while others will pretty much put your application in the back burner. I would say to apply at a health insurance related company like AmerGroup, Aeitna, BC/BS, but with your record, it could be a hit or miss. |
