2 yr nursing degree? |
I'm 41 years old and considering going back to school for nursing (a TOTAL career change). Is there anyone out there who can tell me what I can expect to make, salary wise, with a 2 year nursing degree? Thanks!! I can't speak on the salary other than the $30-35 per hour range, but I can speak on Nursing as a second or third career. I am in my mid 30's and am in my 2nd year of nursing school working towards my RN. I will say that Community colleges are better for older and working students as the class schedules are more flexible. Also, it is best complete all of your required core course first, since you will need things like Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology for your clinicals. Good luck. Here in Minnesota the new nurses make around 30 to 35 a hour. |
