Nursing degree questions?

I am currently a senior in high school and I plan to attend Penn State in the fall to become an RN. I have been talking to my guidance counselors and I am a little confused. From what they told me I can get an associates in nursing in 2 years and be considered an RN, and then re-enroll to get my Bachelors degree. The part I am confused about is when I go back for my Bachelors degree is it just an additional 2 years, or is it another 4 years?

Thanks so much to anyone who helps!!

It would be an additional two years, or some schools have accelerated programs that may take just a year and half.

If you want you want your bachelor's degree, I would recommend going to a four-year college and getting it right off the bat. No use in re-enrolling to complete it later on!

It would be an additional two years. There are special programs for RNs with an associates to get the BSN. Go for it--you'll be working that much quicker. Oh, a 2 year program is more than 2 years though--pre-reqs in most cases; usually a waiting list; get those co-reqs out of the way ASAP also.
