How long does it take to become a doctor/nurse?

In years of Education?

To get your M.D. or D.O. you need a minimum of 8 years of school, four years of undergraduate and four years of Professional (medical) school. In very rare occasions, you can be accepted to a medical school before earning your undergraduate degree, but this is extremely, rare (I mean extremely).

To become a medical doctor, you generally go through 4 years of college and 4 years of medical school. But then you also have to go through a few years of internship and residency after that depending on your specialization.
