What is the best government or state job? |
I'm looking to start a new career for the state or gorvenment, but where do I begin? Will the state even hire someone without experience? All of my education is surrounds the medical field, so how can I benifit from that? My passion has been for nursing homes, but unfortunatly they don't offer health insurance in Oklahoma. As a plus I do have good office skills, and computer knowledge, but will that be enough? I've already spent 4 years going to school, and I don't want to do it again. Medical field...that's pretty broad. If you mean nursing you might try the Dept. of Corrections in your state or any other state you might want to live in. There are usually openings, but you do work with felons...face it that's why they are there...and yes there are guards around. It usually pays pretty well. The benefits are usually good, and in most cases you can retire after 20 years. COAST GUARD I am intersted to need a teacher of Govt. Job.(TGT) Social studies. State Health Services, will be ideal. Surf and explore State Official Web Sites, you may find number of interesting services available for you. Good Luck !! |
