Should I or Should I not? |
Well, Im in nursing school getting ready to take finals. I would love to be a nurse, but now i'm having a change of heart. I would much rather be an elementary teacher. My question is what should I do? Do yall know of any pros and cons? Is is just b/c im stressing over finals ( i am a full-time student, my husband works full-time and i have 2 toddlers) What is the average cost to get a bachelor's degree in education? What normally do teachers get paid? Im sorry if its soo many questions. And thanks for your thoughts and input!!! Well, one pro t becoming a teacher is that when your children go to school, you can have the same schedule as them. A con is that elementary school teachers are payed less. How much they get payed varies from state to state and sometimes from parish/county to parish/county. You would get paid way more as a nurse than as a teacher. Also, to be a teacher in some states you not only need a bachelors, but a teacher credential also. I have heard of people that got their bachelor degrees in something besides education, and then got the teacher credential and became teachers. There are some states of course that need teachers so badly that they dont require the credential. don't be a teacher they get paid crap like 30,000 |
