How to become a Nurse? |
I would like to be a nurse. I need to know what I need to do to start preparing myself for it. I am a junior in high school right now just to let you know. I need to know what kind of education I need to become one. Do I need some type of degree? Do I need to be a certified nurse. Please help!!! My sister is a nurse; she has a B.S.N. from Baylor University's School of Nursing. It's a full four-year degree, and requires a fair amount of math and science, as well as nursing-specific courses. It entails all the requirements for a registered nurse in the various states in the U.S. I think you need atleast an associate's degree and a certian number of hours in Nursing training, then you sit for the board exams to become a Registered Nurse. That is the minimum that you need to do. First try nursing a Baby, then switch to someone older |
