Help with Admissions essay- why do you want to go to a particular university?

I am writing an admissions essay, and am at a loss for what to put. It is an accelerated nursing program for students already possesing a bachelor's degree in another area. Truthfully, I don't really have a reason why I want to go to that school. Nursing schools throughout the country are getting so competitive that I am just sending out applications to everywhere within a commuting distance, and this school is on the radar.

Some of the positves of this school- it recognized as one of the best schools in the mid-west, and has a reputation for producing well-prepared nurses. It has a strong commitment to the Jesuit tradition (not really relevant, since I am a prodestant). The curriculum is challenging and fast-paced and will allow me to build on previous education and experience. I have some things to put, but it really sound like I am just repeating the brochure.

This is the website, if it helps: http://www2.creighton.edu/nursing/progra...

Endeavor to include your personal history in some way that it is connected to this school's. Save that section so you can put it in others if you have to do so.

Put something about the Jesuit tradition -- how it relates to you.

Best of Luck!

Just be dramatic. Put something like "I feel so connected to this college" or something like that.
