Magnet school for nothing!? |
I'm in my freshman year of a magnet school for health careers I plan to be a nurse with masters and midwifery...but I wonder sometimes if I should do something bigger than a nurse like I'm not using my education for what it could be....But i also wanted to a pediatrician before but it's too many years in studying....help!? i too attended a magnet school geared towards the health. it is quite common to be overwhelmed with decisions your freshman year. the great thing is you have 3 more years of high school that will expose you to so many different areas of medicine and health. It doesn't really matter what you COULD be based on the school you're going to. All that matters is what you really want to do. A nurse is a very educated job and unless you want to study enough to be a doctor probably as high as you want to go. If you are a high school freshman it will be many years before you really need to choose. Take all the advance placement classes and get great grades so you will have choices later. |
