Very confusing situation?

I'm so confused about what I want to do with my life. Well actually this happens to me quite often. When I start on something it goes very well for sometime then I start to change track!
My education - Im currently studying Psychology. But all of a sudden I've got this "dream" to become a nurse!...and I've started to belive that I'll be better at nursing etc...but I know, the minute I start on nursing I will lose interest in it.
A feild that I've liked for a long time is disease control. So Im hoping to do my degree in Public health and minor in Psychology. And I was so excited about doing this course and what is more it felt so right. But again "nursing" is in my head and I've started to lose track.
Im not really that interested in nursing, but I do like to do something that involves health. Public Health therefore is ideal for me. But how do I stop changing my mind like this?
I want so badly to get a good education but this is a really big problem for me. Please advise

Dear Sapphire, let me first honor you for choosing a service career, whether it be public health or nursing. Your focus is on helping others so any field you choose which field is designed to help others, such a choice is in alignment with your personality. Good for you. Suggestion. Try them all. Nursing takes a lot of psychology, and part of psychology is providing for the [mental] health of others. Get your bachelors degree in psychology then go for a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). Then go for the public health as a graduate degree. Wow. What qualifications you'll have. Very impressive.

it is important to have a good education if you really want to get somewhere in life. I say just finish what you are doing now, maybe you are just getting bored of the studying. Finish what you are doing to prove to yourself that you can stick with something.

well go for the one you always think of and you cant get off your mind dont keep changing things keep one thing and stick with it if you dont it will just keep getting worse and what you are looking for is a goods thing to do even helping people when they arent well go for it dont give up
i hope this works out for you i hope evrything goes well for you

just drink coffee and get some sleep.. it so effective try it...

I changed degrees four time until I found something that I was truely interested in. Stick with your interests and you will find your nitch.

I'm going through the same thing. I'm majoring in biology with emphasis on Pre-med. I want to be a doctor and help people. Also I love the medical field. But for as long as I can remember people always thought that I was going to be a cosmotoligets, I was always good at that and so did they. i have always wondered what i should really do.
So this just happened but I took a semseter off to get some perspective on life. It has helped a ton. I have decided to be a Master Esthetian now. That way I can do something in beauty and there are a few things that only master esthetians and doctors can do to people. So there's still something in the medical field.
Like I said, taking some time off really helped me think about what I really want to do.

education is necessary if u want 2 lead a happylife........
