Any RN's go into a RN-MSN program? |
I am thinking of doing this since i am going to be 32 when i finish my nursing program, and definately want to go on with my education. I am thinking it is the more efficient way to go about getting my advanced degrees..but i really dont know. I just wanted to hear from someone who went through one of these programs and some advice or opinions about it. why not go into a Nurse Practioner program or Nurse Anesethist There are alot of good programs like these, one of the best is at CSUDH. But I am planning on doing an LVN-BSN program at Indana State U, in prob. 3 years... |

Its a long time to study and can be very disheartening, but all you have to remember is that you only now have halfway to go. I felt like that after the second year of my 5 year degree - it seem... Follow your heart, because you'll have to live with that choice. Most people find that they are fulfilled when they choose something that they like and motivates them, as in "I love to go... Well I dont know about what the work permits. But if u come to mexico to live move by the border and u can cross over into the united states and work there. There is alot of people that cross over ... As a college instructor with 4 University degrees I can tell you ANY degree is versatile. Otherwise they would say "Math for Airline Pilots", "Biology for Plant lovers", etc...... This sounds to me like you think a nurse is a prayer sister and bedpan changer. If that's what you think, don't change a thing. If you think a nurse is a trained medical professional, yo... i reckon the money could have been better spent elsewhere - like u say, hospitals, schools, police, public service in general! I think that its typical of our Governemnt - their priorities are all ... |
