RN-BSN or BSN??

I am entering General education this fall with intentions of getting my associates in nursing and then going for the RN-BSN track, my school (Florida Hospital) told me it would take roughly 1 year for the pre reqs and 2 years for the associates in nursing and then 2 years to finish the BSN, would it be shorter to attend a school that goes to BSN straight? I dont want to have to take 5 years to finish a bachelor's..

It all depends on how soon you want to start working. Most RN-BSN students are working nurses who are supporting families and seeking advancement in their established careers.

If you want to start working right away, you should get your RN, then work on your BSN. Most programs offer a full-time completion where you can complete the degree in a year. Part-time programs usually take 2 years.

i think its advisable that you should take the BSN straight so that you can save time and expenses.
